Kingship - seeing the Purpose of God through Genesis Gen 1:27-28 27 God created man in His own image , in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “ Be fruitful and multiply , and fill the earth , and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth .” Psalm 8 Rev 20:4 Rev 2-3 - Purpose of God is for man to rule the Earth, so Earth is a reflection of the Heaven, the Glory of God - Order was lost when man sinned and it looked like the purpose of God was disrupted - God then started the work of recovery and used Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph as an illustration of how He would recover His work - Ultimately, through Christ God gained a King after His own heart - Through His work on the cross, He not only took care of our sins, but imparted His life to us that through the work of the Holy Spirit we may grow up and mature and be trained and groomed to be kings and reign with Him; that in the end we can finally fulfill His purpose for man to rule the Earth.
